the new year brought a huge amount of global interest in our connemara project. designboom kicked things off with over 15,000 hits and sparked further interest from China, Russia, Italy, Sweden, Mexico, the US and Australia to name a few. we are looking forward to having connemara published around the world.

a busy month. our Connemara project was exhibited as part of the 'Everyday Architecture Galway' exhibition in Eyre Square for 2 weeks. the idea is to highlight how everyone's everyday experience can be improved through good design.

congratualtions to John Monahan on the success of his collaboration with Gordon Ryan and Jota Castro with a sculpture for this years Dublin Contemporary exhibition. the piece is called 'us' and the exhibition runs until the 31st of oct in the earlsfort terrace gallery.

World Design Capital 2014 is an exciting prospect and Pivot Dublin is the channel through which we are making our bid. the Hugh Lane Gallery was the location for a design feast and Jonathan Legge was responsible for the creative direction. a great sense of excitement and teamwork on the day. fingers crossed!

the new convention centre was the setting for the Opus awards ceremony this year, where we scooped the top prize in the under €2million catagory for ballsbridge

on a somber note, the office dog Shadow passed away,
